{"id":369,"date":"2025-11-01T20:13:13","date_gmt":"2025-11-01T20:13:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes2.thecreativepage.com\/wordpress\/?page_id=369"},"modified":"2025-11-01T20:13:13","modified_gmt":"2025-11-01T20:13:13","slug":"thai-beef-salad","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/recipes2.thecreativepage.com\/wordpress\/dinner\/thai-beef-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Thai Beef Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3\/4 lb (340 g) beef tenderloin, rib-eye, sirloin, or striploin, room temperature<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tbsp soy sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>dashes pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 small cucumber or 1 English cucumber, seeded and sliced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 oz (113 g) cherry tomato, cut in half<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 shallot, sliced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4 cup (60 ml) mint, loosely packed and torn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4 cup (60 ml ) cilantro, loosely packed and torn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Salad Dressing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 1\/2 tbsp fish sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tbsp palm sugar, or light brown sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tbsp fresh lime juice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 fresh red chili, finely minced<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Season your beef steak with soy sauce and pepper. Let it sit for 15 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grill your steak over a very hot grill to get the grill marks. Cook to your desired done-ness. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly across the grain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the salad dressing, mix together the fish sauce, sugar, lime juice and chili in a small bowl. Taste and adjust sweetness, saltiness and tartness according to your taste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a large mixing bowl, combine beef, cucumber, tomato, shallot, and herbs. Start with half the dressing, then taste and adjust \u2014 it&#8217;s easy to overdo it.
